I am a complete newbie to A to Z challenge. This is my first year though I came close to participating in the previous years but somehow things did not fall in place. I am taking a plunge this year, as for the first time in years I have no travel plans in April. 🙂 To tell you the truth I am having butterflies in my tummy.
I am attempting A to Z challenge for my cooking blog this year. Since this is my first year, my theme is very broad. My readers like my cooking blog for easy instructions and recipes, and that is exactly how I enjoy my cooking too. Hence I thought of sharing basic recipes as my theme this year. I will be sharing a lot of basic concepts in cooking that many of the newbie and sometimes experienced cooks may struggle with or are in awe of and don’t want to ask anyone. I will also share my tips to make processes doable or my own cheats so that you are encouraged to have more home cooked food made from scratch. Does this sound interesting to you? I would love to know.
To tell you the truth, I have a long way to go in terms of being prepared. I have jotted down ideas for most letters but am struggling with a few difficult ones. Being recipe posts, I also have to be ready with pictures in advance. That March end is already hectic, and I am also traveling this weekend, I am feeling a bit daunted. But then challenges are good, and I have a few people who I reach out to when I am hyper. The kids are spurring me on so that’s nice. And the husband is quite intrigued with the idea of doing 26 posts in a month.
So let’s all read, enjoy and share this April. I hope my posts help you do more cooking at home and also give more thought to meal planning. That is my only aim in sharing my food journey and recipes. Let’s all cook up a storm. What say?
Look forward to hearing your comments on what you think about my theme.
