Chocolate Walnut Peda Recipe

  • 400 g. Khoya or Mawa I used Milky Mist
  • 6 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder I used Hershey’s
  • 15 walnuts coarsely powdered


  1. Cut khoya into pieces. Add sugar to it and heat it in a kadhai till it dissolves well.
  2. Now add 3 tbsp. of cocoa powder and mix well. Turn off the heat and add powdered walnuts. Mix well.
  3. Keep aside to cool down. When relatively cool and easy to work with, made peda shapes and add one walnut piece in the centre for garnish.
  4. Store these pedas in the fridge.
  5. Chocolate walnut pedas are delectable and ready to eat.
